Question 1

What platforms does Pluto Door support?

Accepted Answer

Pluto Door is currently available for macOS (12 Monterey and later, both Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows and Linux versions are in development and coming soon.

Question 2

How much does Pluto Door cost?

Accepted Answer

Pluto Door is free for 14 days, then $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. Cancel anytime. AI usage is billed by Anthropic or OpenAI on your own key.

Question 3

Is my data private with Pluto Door?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pluto Door is local-first. Your SSH keys, passwords and connections stay on your Mac, with secrets in the macOS Keychain. The app connects straight to your servers and your AI provider; our servers only handle your license, sign-in and update checks.

Question 4

How does Ori, the AI agent, work?

Accepted Answer

Ori uses your own Claude (Anthropic) or OpenAI key and talks to the provider directly. It works on your servers over SSH, reads freely, and asks before anything that changes a server. Pluto Door never sees your prompts or responses.

Question 5

Can I use Pluto Door on multiple machines?

Accepted Answer

Each license key is permanently tied to 1 machine. If you want to use Pluto Door on multiple machines, you'll need to purchase a separate license for each.

Question 6

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Start with the 14-day free trial, which needs no card. If something goes wrong with a payment, email hello@plutodoor.com within 7 days and we'll look at each case. Cancelled subscriptions keep working until the end of the paid period.
