License
License Grant
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use Pluto Door on one (1) device. Your license key is personal and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
Permitted Use
You may use Pluto Door for personal or commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works based on the software.
Ownership
Pluto Door and all associated intellectual property remain the sole property of ByteLights. Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of the software.
Privacy & Security
Privacy & Data
Pluto Door is a local-first application. Your SSH keys, passwords, credentials, and server data never leave your machine. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data, usage analytics, or telemetry. The only information we store is your email address and license key for purchase fulfillment.
macOS Keychain Usage
Pluto Door uses the macOS Keychain to securely encrypt and store your license key, SSH credentials, and API keys. This is a system-level security feature provided by Apple. We do not have access to your Keychain data.
Third-Party Services
Pluto Door connects to remote servers only as directed by you via SSH. The optional AI assistant feature connects to third-party AI providers using API keys you provide. We do not proxy, intercept, or store any data from these connections.
Purchase & Updates
Payment & Refunds
All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Pluto Door is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges. Due to the digital nature of the product, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase if you experience issues.
Software Updates
Your license entitles you to all updates within the current major version (v1.x). Future major versions may require a separate purchase at a discounted upgrade price.
Legal
Disclaimer of Warranties
Pluto Door is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the software at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ByteLights be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Pluto Door, including but not limited to data loss, server downtime, or security breaches caused by user misconfiguration.
Termination
We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these terms, including but not limited to redistribution of the software or license keys. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the software.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Pluto Door after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via our website.
