For backend developers

The server side of your stack, without leaving your Mac

Terminal and files in one window, an agent that reads the logs and tells you why the service fell over, and a desktop that installs nginx, Postgres or Redis in a few clicks.

How Pluto Door helps

One Mac app for the terminal, the agent and the server desktop

Terminal and files in one window

Classic view puts the terminal on top and an SFTP file browser underneath, so you can tail a log and pull the config file without a second app. Keys are stored in the macOS Keychain.

Ask why it broke

Ori reads the service logs, checks memory and disk, and answers with what failed and the fix it suggests. Every command it ran is listed, so you can repeat or question any of them.

Install the stack from Hangar

Pluto XOS includes Hangar, an app store for the server. Install nginx, Postgres, Redis or Docker, then watch Services and Logs in their own windows.

How it works

Three steps, with you in control

  1. 1

    Open your server

Connect over SSH and pick Classic, Agent or Desktop.

  2. 2

Work in the view that fits

Edit files, run commands, or hand the task to Ori.

  3. 3

    Keep control

Approve changes before they happen and undo any file Ori touched.

Questions

Common questions

Does Pluto Door include an SFTP client?

Yes. Classic view has a terminal with an SFTP file browser underneath it, so you can browse, upload and download files on the same connection.

Can it set up nginx, Postgres, Redis or Docker on a fresh server?

Yes. Hangar, the app store in Pluto XOS, installs software like nginx, Postgres, Redis and Docker. You can also ask Ori to do the setup, and it will show a plan for you to approve first.

Will the agent change my code or config without asking?

No. Bigger jobs start with a plan you approve, destructive commands always stop for approval, and every file Ori changes can be put back.

Where are my SSH keys stored?

In the macOS Keychain.
